Restaurant Le Lagon — Restaurant in Verdun

Really nice food and service. Most of us ate pizzas which were really good, and the magret du Canard, which was exceptional. One of us asked for a salad which was way too much, and the quantity of condiments compared to the quantity of lettuce was really disproportioned, we left more than the half because it was way too big. Also the pasta was nice, but maybe too much creme wich was a bit boring and too fat. But it's still a 4/5 regarding food and we really recommend it. The deserts were also good, specially the Damen Blanche and the banana split, but the tiramisu wasn't our favorite, it didn't have enough creme, and it had strawberry jam, which was a strange combination. Je mange pas de viande depuis 8ans et me voilà a croquer dans du jambon après avoir expressément commander deux pizza (les deux mêmes )en précisant "sans viande " l'une arrive sans viande l'autre en contient . Mais ne vous inquiétez pas l'erreur est humaine et pour s'excuser du désagrément on vous offre un coca !!(Comprenez l'ironie ..) Autant vous dire que la prochaine fois je vérifierais a deux fois avant de manger ici . (Ce qui n'est pas normal pour un restaurant où l'on devrait manger en confiance . ) j'aimerais également préciser le temps d'attente très long (commandée à 20h15 on nous annonce 21h15 reçue a 21h30 ) , le restaurant sois disant complet mais plusieurs tables innocupées et ce jusqu'à la fin du service et le flagrant rétrécissement de la taille de la pizza en quelques années. Sans rancune . La prochaine fois je demande une pizza légume ça sera peut être plus clair vu qu'ici le client doit s'adapter à la maigre compréhension...

What a surprise!! Great food and well served by our host. We really enjoyed our evening, just as well as we had to climb the steep hill to our autocaravana after several wines and two huge pizzas!! Well worth a visit....
