Au Bureau — Restaurant in Vierzon

As an American tourist in France the concept of when food is available was odd for me. A place may open at 11am and serve food until 2pm. The place doesn't close at 2pm, you can still have a cocktail but can't eat until 7pm when the kitchen opens. The quality of the food is so much better than I am used to back home. This is a sports bar but the food would be considered gourmet back home. They use the euro which is a little more than a buck. So a dollar in EU is about $1.10 so the math is pretty easy. Nothing was super expensive compared to home but the quality was so much better. Not talking bad about our food but they think about it differently. Our food is an after thought, their food is the reason...

Nice atmosphere...good selection of food and I like the taste and presentation. Big downside is the wait staff.... they are not friendly... except to some regulars when they kiss and talk. It seams there is no order as you can have 3 to 4 servers in one sitting. I've been here many times and the waitress recognized me and asked if I wanted the Leffe Blond 50... and I said yes.... I waited 12 minutes for it and someone else brought...

No mention on their site about being dog friendly. We chanced a visit as it looked good. Not only were the staff very accomodating with us having 2 dogs, they also brought out water bowls for both of them. The menu has a lot to offer and our choices were brought out very quickly. What wins it for me is the fact they have Belgian beer! Excellent service and...
