As an American tourist in France the concept of when food is available was odd for me. A place may open at 11am and serve food until 2pm. The place doesn't close at 2pm, you can still have a cocktail but can't eat until 7pm when the kitchen opens. The quality of the food is so much better than I am used to back home. This is a sports bar but the food would be considered gourmet back home. They use the euro which is a little more than a buck. So a dollar in EU is about $1.10 so the math is pretty easy. Nothing was super expensive compared to home but the quality was so much better. Not talking bad about our food but they think about it differently.
