La Renaissance — Restaurant in Villefranche-de-Rouergue

We've been to the restaurant three times now in two weeks (we have a vacation home in Capdenac le Haut), and we will be regulars …. First a little skeptical because of the (a tad unprepossessing) exterior, we immediately turned into total fans of the chef and the service. The cuisine, a mixture of French and Asian, is innovative without being extravagant, and the tastes are just heavenly! And it's inspiring – I feel I'd love to copy quite a few of the creations. - Today, I had one of the best starters of my culinary life: crispy fried rolls filled with chorizo in a light sauce (incredibly balanced tastes), a samosa with a filling of duck confit and apricot, and so on. The desserts are to die for! And everything (except for the ice cream, a sign tells us) is home-made. The service is professional and warm, attentive and personal. The prices are very reasonable. After their two-week vacation, we'll be back! We recommend this...

Cadre agréable et accueil toujours aussi chaleureux. La patronne est très à l'écoute et a toujours le mot gentil. Le patron connaît bien son métier. Dans le menu du midi on retrouve très souvent l'oeuf mimosa mais a chaque fois avec un arrangement différent. Le menu du WE est a la hauteur. Par contre dans un menu a trois entrées et trois plats je ne suis pas fan de suppléments. Or ici il y a un supplément pour une entrée et pour un plat(2x4€). Produits du terroir et de qualité. Mais on a tendance a retrouver toujours les mêmes produits. Je souhaite que le patron pousse plus loin sa créativité. Allez-y vous y passerez un bon moment. La cuisine est toujours très constante. J'y retourne avec plaisir et ce 18/4 c'était toujours aussi...

Le seul restaurant gastronomique digne de ce nom ici. Et même à figeac il n ya pas mieux. Si vous êtes gastronome épicurien, c est là qu faut aller. Les produits sont frais et impeccablement travailles. Les viandes demandent un supplément de tarif mais ka qualité est au top.

Juste kes pâtes alimentaires forme grain de riz qui avaient pêche un peu. J aurais préféré un très bon riz ou ....

Dessert très bon aussi. La c est de ka cuisine que je ne saurais pas faire chez moi. C est un endroit que je recommande depuis des années.
