This restaurant has excellent food and although there are other options for Indian food in Amberg, and they are all excellent, this restaurant is the one that edges the others out and in my opinion is the best of the best. Their butter chicken is amazing. The tandoori chicken legs are an experience you must try. The spicier dishes do not disappoint, the chicken Jalfrezi was delicious and had a level of spice that was perfectly balanced with its flavors. The naan bread perfect. Hi guys , I am from Australia. Me and my wife spent 6 months in amberg . We went to Maharaja Palace Indian restaurant . I am surprised at the negative reviews! We recently moved into the area and were advised by a local that M.P is an authentic taste of India.. There always seems to be a nice atmosphere inside the restaurant, despite it being casual dining and the emphasis more on food than decor (no complaints from me there though).
