Hotel & Restaurant Haunstetter Hof — Restaurant in Augsburg

We were given the wrong address on our confirmation via the phone as 1 Landsberger Strasse not 48. When we told the receptionist she was not interested and told us we were wrong despite showing her the confirmation on the phone numerous times. We were trying to get her to acknowledge the problem so that others would not have the same experience looking for the hotel, she wasn't remotely interested. She even called another waitress and waiter over to discuss the situation with them? Neither of whom could help the situation as their English was really basic.||No smile, no apology- she should not be working on reception let alone purport to being the manager. I mentioned to the waiter who came downstairs to the underground car park to check on us-that I would be speaking to the owner about her. ||Amazingly when we returned from trying to find a place to eat , he was at reception . Mr Ilir Seferi was not at all helpful and was did not understand why I wanted to complain about this member of staff, who was standing in the background whilst I was talking to him( despite me asking to speak to him in private) I have stayed in a great number of hotels worldwide and never experienced an attitude like this from a receptionist or the owner- disgraceful. He told us we could have phoned to get the address of the hotel!||Andrea features in all their publicity, brochures etc as though she is "part of the family". ||She does not understand English and thanked me for telling her she was the rudest receptionist I had ever come across, before telling me " her English was not perfect BUT we were in Germany!!!!!!"||The staff here do not speak/understand English so forget about asking for advice or trying to complain.||An absolutely appalling place, with only 2 small towels in the room despite it being booked as a double...

This hotel is absolutely amazing. It is clean, modern and comfortable. Starting with a warm Bavarian welcome at the reception, check-in was quick and easy, especially if you complete the online check-in prior to to arrival. The room was spacious, modern and inviting. The bed was very comfortable, the desk and chairs were a nice touch and the bathroom had really nice amenities. The AC worked well and windows were soundproofed as I did not hear any traffic outside even though the main road was on my side of the hotel. The breakfast was also fantastic. The variety of eggs, cold cuts, cheeses, cereals, yogurts, fruit, breads, pastries, and more was amazing. Besides coffee specialties and tee, you could make freshly pressed orange juice. Last but definitely not least, the staff was absolutely fantastic. Everyone from the reception, breakfast room and bar were friendly and very polite. You were made to feel as if you were at home.
