Restaurant Il Quadrifoglio — Restaurant in Augsburg

We visited this restaurant on Saturday evening. Ordered cucumber salat, a plate with mixed appetisers, steak with side dish, 2 pastas and drinks. It took toooo long to bring us our order. We waited for appetisers and salad approximately 40 minutes if no more. We were already really hungry. Just to say about cucumber salad - it's even not a salad rather slices of cucumber with some sauce at top.... what to do with it 40 minutes? than it took again long time till we get our main dishes. The waitress didn't ask initially about the level steak should be prepared, and unexpectedly we got really really raw meat, all very red. We couldn't eat it, and asked to cook it better. We were not really full at the end and ordered one more pasta. While we were waiting for it, the cook came to us and told that spaghetti were finished and asked if we don't mind to have in pasta half spaghetti, and half penne. It's fine for us to eat (we understand) but general the situation was really strange for restaurant with such high rating. Overall the...

When you enter this restaurant, you smell something that does not bode well! About the food I won't comment because it is not real Italian cuisine. When I went down to go to the bathroom, there was the door of the storeroom open and everything old and messy. What can I say ... a disappointing experience is devoid of staff, only husband and wife I do not know how they do it without employees, but a question arises ... When I approached the cashier to pay I naturally looked towards the kitchen ... very dirty and with rags full of stains including sauce, the pans placed under the kappa in a disorderly manner and the owner in a bad mood, full of sweat. Places like this should not even exist because with all the dirt there I really think that one day it will get on the plates and the bad food. Terrible experience..my advice is not to go and eat at a fake, dirty 'Italian' restaurant, poor employees..they must have run...

Wir essen gerne italienisch und haben in Augsburg so ziemlich alle "probiert" Im Quadrifoglio sind wir schon mehrmals gewesen, besonders gerne im Sommer, wenn man draußen essen kann. Weil es ein kleines, aber gut besuchtes Ristorante ist, empfiehlt es sich, besonders am Wochenende einen Tisch zu reservieren. Heute gab es frischen Fisch (Seeteufel und Seezunge) Wir haben uns für die Seezunge entschieden, der vom Chef sachkundig und schnell am Tisch filetiert wurde. Dazu Rotwein, nein keinen Weißwein! Der "Hauswein", - ein Barone Nero aus dem Veneto passt vorzüglich zu gegrilltem oder gebratenen Fisch. Vorher eine gemischte Vorspeise, Vitello Tonnato, danach eine gute Panna Cotta und zum Abschluß ein sehr angenehmer Espresso, der einen "Tick" heißer hätte sein können ...

Alles in Allem: Ein Besuch im Quadrifoglio lohnt sich. Die Preise sind absolut ok. Der Chef (Herr Vella) ist sehr freundlich und dabei unaufdringlich. Der Service flink und äußerst freundlich.

Übrigens: Die Pizzen gehören zu den TOP 5 in Augsburg.

Das Il Quadrifoglio ist kein Sternerestaurant, - sondern ein gemütliches Familienrestaurant, mit einer soliden und qualitativ guter Küche, in dem man einen gemütlichen Abend mit gutem Essen verbringen kann.

Was ich mir wünschen würde: Auch mal andere typische Gerichte aus anderen Regionen Italiens, etwa aus Ligurien oder der Toscana, etwa Wild oder Kaninchen. Es gibt leider viel zu wenige italienische Restaurants, die so etwas anbieten. Und...
