A natural stop to grab a quick bite while blasting down the autobahn from Hanover to Bielefeld, I couldn't enter the facilities however as I didn't use a FFP2 mask, but this comes down to the German policies and not necessarily KFC themselves, it wouldn't be right to give less stars in the review based on that. Anyways, I couldn't use the self order screen inside the store so I had to go to the drive through and do what us Norwegians hate the most..... interact with other human beings. As I slowly drove up to the speaker to order my first ever KFC meal I didn't know what to order! I had never done it before, the lady at the microphone asked me what I would like, in german.. oh no I thought to myself, I don't speak German.. "English please 🙏 😢?" I said with a worried look, "1 minute" was the last thing I heard for what felt like hours. What was going to happen, were they going to speak german to me or English, I was so nervous, the same lady came back and we somehow managed to communicate what I wanted. This was a fast food restaurant with the worst organization and the slowest service imaginable. The staff behind the counter moved as if they were in a trance. The order management system wasn’t working, so they placed the receipts on the counter and randomly chose which orders to fulfill. If someone didn’t pick up their order (how could they, with the notification screen not working?), they would move the contents of that order to another tray and serve it cold to someone else. We waited over 50 minutes for three Twisters and a few strips. People who ordered long after us received their orders much earlier. It was only when we approached a staff member, showed them our receipt, and they managed to find it on the counter, that our order was finally prepared. This was our second attempt—on the first, they couldn’t find our receipt and just shrugged.
In my opinion, the only way to eat there is via the drive-thru.
This KFC is a disgrace. Whoever is managing the franchises should sort...

Spass beiseite. Wir waren heute das erste mal bei KFC barsinghausen und offen gesagt noch nie kam mir so ein saftladen unter die Augen.
Das Essen....crispy Nuggets sehr zartes Fleisch allerdings hatte die panade die gleiche Konsistenz.
Das kidsmenü toll in der Planung aber die Ausführung ist mehr als erbärmlich. Als wir nach dem dazu angepriesenen Spielzeug fragten hieß es, wir haben kein Spielzeug. (Das Geld dafür nahm man natürlich gern und bot auch nichts an was in irgendeiner Form "entschädigen" würde)
Der crispy Burger, zwei Nuggets nach alter Manier in der Konsistenz des Brötchens, Lieblos raufgeballert Ketchup und schon haben wir einen Burger für knapp 3 euronen.
Getränke, gelinde gesagt die plörre schmeckt wie abgestandenes Wasser das kurz mal einen siruptropfen traf.
Milchshake, oder wie es im Volksmund genannt wird, geschmolzene softeis. Die einen Sorten gibt es nicht andere werden noch so zusammengekratzt dass man letztlich keinerlei Geschmack hat.
Sauberkeit ein heikles Thema, hier offensichtlich garkeines!!!
Die herrentoilette stinkt Bestalisch, es ist eine Toilette klar aber derartiger gestank dass man(n) die Luft anhalten muss GEHT GARNICHT!!!Schon garnicht in einem "restaurant". Der seifenspender war leer so fand man(n) den Weg in den Vorraum der damentoilette. Hier stank es nicht so massiv jedoch sauber ist was anderes.
Die getränkespender waren rundherum völlig verspritzt und das nicht erst seit dem Kunden vor uns.
Die Tische scheinen in unregelmäßigen Abständen gewischt zu werden wenn überhaupt.
Alles in allem es ist dreckig das Essen war seine 40€ für 3 Personen nichtmal im Ansatz wert und es war der erste aber sicher der letzte Besuch!!!
Künftig nehmen wir doch lieber die beliebte Variante direkt nebenan irritierenderweise schmeckt hier selbst das Hähnchen besser🤔
