So. The place is warm and welcoming you feel very much at home. The waitress was friendly and even joked 'there is more' when she dropped off my salad (as I asked for her recommended meal.) Her recommendation ended up being pork with an orange gravy and some fried croquettes. The pork and gravy was very nice it had a tang, pork wasn't dry, it was also fast. The sauce was very good! Overall I can't complain about this experience and will come back.

Also they take credit card and have a semi English menu ... I just asked what she recommended though.

If you forced me to complain about my experience it would be the potatoes croquettes ... And that's just because of the million ways I like potatoes; croquettes isn't one ... I will say accompanied with the sauce even this was completely gone at the end of my meal, not normal for me.

I'm also 100% sure I was more stressed about their 1430 closing time...

Great food, despite their menu not having such a big variety and options, but what on there comes in variety and options and everything we have when coming here tastes really yummy and even better because of the truly great service! It feels they are truly happy and welcoming even when you want to make small changes on menu.

Once we weren’t able to get a table and ordered to go. When picking up the food, the waitress apologized because they ran out of something that supposed to come with the dish, and she added instead something differently. Another time I mentioned I am lactose intolerant and ordered the dish without sauce and she even went the extra mile and told the cook to give a sauce that hadn’t had cream in, even it was for a meat dish, but it’s the genuinely trying to compensate and still offer you options that we can only highly recommend...

11 July 2023: I was there again today and they had Schweinebraten mit Klöße and I tell you - they are really generous with their sauce and it’s tasty! The pork was so tender it just fell apart with the fork. I give 5 stars for food because their baked/braised dishes are simply good! Service from the lady owner is amicable as always that you simply enjoy your time there😊 3 months ago: I was there on Saturday to pack a schäufele, and to my surprise, the crust of the schäufele was still so crispy when I got home and ate it. Amazing that for packed quality - how did they maintain it so well?!! Lady owner is so personable and easy...
