Today I went to this Indian restaurant called Maharani Indisches Restaurant. I ordered Chicken Briyani and my friend ordered veg Thali. I told them to make the briyani in Indian Style and asked them not to put nuts or raisins in it. When the Briyani came, It looked Yummy. When I tasted it, it tasted also yummy. They gave ghee tadka to it and it tasted reallly delicious. The chicken pieces tasted as if they were half boiled before and with briyani also they had cooked it, so it tasted tender. The briyani had the German Briyani rice and not our Basmati rice. I would rate the Briyani 6/10.

My friend's veg Punjabi Thali had palak paneer, chole, Malai koft and rice. I tasted chole, it wasnt that good. Malai kofta in the beginning after tasting it, I felt its some desert. When I asked the waiter, he said its malai kofta and it comes sweet. I couldn't taste the palak paneer because I was really full. Rating - 5/10

Then we ordered Mango Lassi. Guys, please dont have hopes like our Punjabi Indian lassi. It was clearly flavoured and felt like flavoured yogurt. 5/10

The restaurant was clean. Waiter was coming and asking if we needed anything else and if we liked the food. Sardarji was also there so I said Sat Sri Akaal to the Sardarji.

My recent visit to Maharani Indiches Restaurant and Cocktail left me thoroughly disappointed. Despite the enticing promise of authentic Indian cuisine, the reality was far from satisfactory.

The food quality was abysmal, with dishes like chicken curry, veg biryani, and butter naan , bhatura , palak paneer , and failing to meet even basic standards. The lack of hygiene was evident as the dishes seemed unwashed, getting and spoons also and the chutneys are Not change they always recycle the chutneys I even found hairs in my food, which was utterly unacceptable.

Moreover, the management's insistence on customers leaving positive reviews, coupled with the suspicion of fabricated 4-star ratings, raises serious concerns about the integrity of this establishment.

In conclusion, I regret to say that Maharani Indiches Restaurant and Cocktail fell worst short of expectations on all fronts. I would strongly advise potential diners to reconsider their choices and explore other dining options for an authentic Indian...

Terrible service. The Bangladeshi waiter was so rude. We ordered 2 thalis and wanted to upgrade it to a Platte. And he flatly refused and told (mocked) us that we took 5 minutes to read the menu and yet we couldn't order correctly. And when we tried to explain to another waiter (who was polite), this Bangladeshi waiter started to argue with us- asking us why we were involving another waiter. We told him, this is no way to talk to your customers. He told us "thank you for your suggestion"and left while the other polite waiter apologized on his behalf. Food wasn't fresh. Gobi Pakora was bland. Palak paneer was saltless. Bhatura and sabji masala weren't fresh. Jamoon(dessert) was hard. It is supposed to be soft. If it is hard, it means it is stale. All in a all, a terrible experience- service and the quality of food. Definitely not how Indian food is...
