Risa Chicken — Restaurant in Berlin

Great fried chicken! Better than KFC, the best so far in Berlin. Fried chicken is very juicy and tasty. I love it. The portion is big offering a lot of carbs. I didn’t finish everything yet already felt full on the way. They have fries and thin bread. They have me one thing bread but apparently you could have more if you want. So, it’s actually a good value of money for as well. They also offer burgers but I didn’t try. I was very surprised to find such a good fried chicken restaurant but unfortunately they do not offer delivery service and are not on the food delivery app. Otherwise, I would definitely have a lot of it! Everything is halal, I guess. It’s a fast food self-service type. Food serving was fast. The only thing that needs to be improved would be the Hygiene. The floor was not so clean nor were tables. Typical fast food place that people love. Obviously a very hectic and loud atmosphere, but that's okay of course. The chicken is excellent, very fresh and tasty, except for the chicken nuggets which I highly suspect are just off the shelf.

They are using a number system for orders, but in that regard they could improve a ton. Why not use a screen and show the next number instead of shouting them through the whole restaurant? Right now, despite it being a fast food place, you can wait quite some time (~15m) for your order.

Lastly, the ventilation should be improved. It's super cool to have a live grill inside, but I don't want to smell like a bonfire afterwards.

Generally, Risa is a good alternative dining out venue compared to KFC as they offer much better range of menus and sandwiches, as well as lower prices. When ordering a half or a whole chicken, you get the one backed on the open fire (charcoal) that tastes so delicious! However, the cleanliness as well as staff friendliness could be much much better. I also did not like the maxi burger, it smells very 'plain', without any speciality. For the price, you cannot complain too much, but I would prefer other places for sure.
