Somina Kitchen — Restaurant in Berlin

The menu is made up perfectly, with some translations in English but most of them are in German. The entire restaurant has a beautiful atmosphere with nice tiled floors and greenery hanging from the ceiling. The colour scheme of the place is fantastically chosen with greens and browns everywhere. They made an effort to decorate for Christmas which would usually clash with the colours but it’s done very well here. The mirrored back wall gives a grand theme to the small space they have to work with. Due to winter limitations there is a built up tent outside though it is still rather cold. The entire place has a very open feel due to windows and gaps which just add to the atmosphere. As a starter we ordered the spring rolls which were delicious and presented wonderfully. I tried the place because it gets good reviews. The atmosphere was alright and it's nicely decorated. I had the chef's special sushi plate for two and was underwhelmed. It was fresh, nicely presented but lacked raw fish. I got the usual stuff you get everywhere else. I left wondering why it was the chef's special. Probably should have gone a la carte and chosen things individually. I would suggest a space for the staff that's not so central. Klare fünf Sterne in allen Bereichen. 👍Als ich dort ankam, war ich gleich von dem wunderschönen Ambiente beeindruckt. Im Garten gibt es Lounge Bereiche, wo wir uns hingesetzt haben, als es anfing zu regnen. Die Bedienung ist sehr freundlich, zuvorkommend und bringt das Essen in einer angemessenen Zeit. Es wird alles ganz frisch zubereitet, die Cocktails sind dekorativ und schmecken lecker. Das Preis -Leistungsverhältnis ist okay. Ich werde auf jeden Fall noch einmal hingehen, auch wenn das Restaurant weite weg ist. Das ist ein Besuch wert! Nachtrag: Besuch dieses Jahr. Die Preise sind inzwischen gesalzen, das Essen nicht mehr so hübsch angerichtet wie im letzten Jahr. Die Cocktails hatten ein unidentifizierbares trockenes Teil als Deko drauf ( wir vermuteten eine getrockneten Pilz) und waren teilweise ungenießbar, da viel zu viel Alkohol beigemengt war.
