Updated Oct/23 Also, we just visited tonight, probably the 8th time and it was actually disappointing.
A group of 15 in the back, meaning a lack of service for other tables. The cheese platter took at least an hour. Shame. And then people seared right close to us so we have to squeeze hard by to go to toilet. Just not comfortable, not good service and every single glass of wine we wanted to order we had to try hard to get the waitress attention.
Apart from that, before we enjoyed a mix of European wineries, now we mostly have German wines which makes it hard for the palate.
I'd be looking for a new wine bar.
A really nice small corner bistro filled with palatable wines to try. You may not like all of them but we did love at least 5 of them. The Malbec is really nice, the Nero D'avola was nice too, the Stellenbosch worth to try. It was a good selection of wines which can be tried by the glass before you buy the whole pumpkin (cow). The cheese platter and Flammkuchen from the restaurant across the road were delicious too, definitely won't go hungry in between. The music is perfectly good volume so you can have intimate conversations. The ambiance is really nice too not too cliché. The manager was very helpful, the only negative point we had to admit, when the manager left the service completely dropped. Unfortunately the staff just sat behind the counter and was on her mobile, we had to get her multiple times, such a shame. It otherwise would have been perfect. Well, nevertheless, do visit, try the wine and food, as I'll be doing that too, 2022 is all about selfcare...

One can feel very intimate with their wine partner(s) and properly separated with other guests at...
