Bad!!! Nicht gut!!! No estuvo bien!
This is our 3rd stay at the hotel. The other 2 were in winter and it was ok in the restaurant of the hotel. But only because it was not a full the place and we were not a lot of customers.
This third time we expected something as it has een before, and as it has to be for a 4 Star hotel and restaurant. And unfortunately was not like that.
Yes, it is a beautiful location for the restaurant, but that's all.
The service both of the days of our last stay was not good at all at the restaurant. A catastrophe!
The food is ok, but not for that price. And even less if you have to wait for two hours for your food and with so chaotic winters and not taking care of the customers at all! That's not a service for a 4 stars reaturant!
We even complained to the restaurant manager with other 2 other people from other different tables! Those families were also waiting for 2 hours for the food!
At least they should let you know, if it ia going to take longer or to have some kind of compensation... but nothing. We anly got: we will ask in the kitchen and the cook is almost in burn out...
The waiters and kitchen are no oriented to the customer, what actually is a big problem of the manager, and even more if it seems that he doesn't want to see that they have a problem with the personal. If they continue like that, not taking care of the customers, they will lose a lot! Not only the restaurant, but also the hotel! So I expect that they take all the conplains seriously! As managers they have to be totally different orientated and not to give the fault to the staff!
I hope Marina Seerestaurant will take this kind of comments as an opportunity to be better... otherwise it will not be a...
Read moreThe marina itself is great, clean, well maintained, professional and capable staff when you want to take boat lessons or rent any sorts of watersports equipment - the marina Seerestaurang however; cold, rude staff - after my lessons I wanted to sit down and enjoy the view with a coffee, only to be told "not open yet" while the restaurant downstairs was already in full swing serving breakfasts to guests of the near hotel.
Other hotels I have been to at least offer alternatives or even a walk-in-price for their dishes and drinks.
It would have been great if the person I spoke to would have been forthcoming with their own suggestions - but they were curt, desinterested and the conversation basically ended. Behind me a family just pulled up in their car and while I was leaving, the perked up and was suddenly much more talkative. Sorry I didn't wear my designer Louboutins during my boat lessons. It's clear the staff would have been nicer if my clothing style wass less "practical for my day" and more "I'm a big tipper"
Sad to see such a great location be so snobbish, I'll bring my own...
Read moreThe second we entered this place, I knew it was a bad sign to see two people, huddled inside trying to pay, while everybody was seated outside. That meant the waiters were taking so long with bringing their bills to the table, they lost patience and came inside. Then, another person came inside and ordered for the same reason. The restaurant was empty inside, as it was a sunny day and a public holiday, so everyone was outside. After some wait (by the way we had a table reservation here thru Opentable) we were told we can only get a table inside for now. They suggested we order and wait for a table to free up outside and then they would move us. Ok. After 20 minutes of being seated inside and watching a couple of waiters step on each others feet, we weren't even brought a menu to order from, so we politely got up and left. The restaurant is nice, and on the food I cannot comment. The service was a disaster, or to put it better, simply didn't exist. Also, outside they indeed have a tables but not that many to justify the inability of waiters and staff to tend to...
