The Fiddlers Bonn — Restaurant in Bonn

Love this Irish Pub. The staff is really nice, the kitchen is good and the selection of both dishes and drinks is great. The atmosphere, interior design, decoration and furniture are very tasteful and exactly what you would expect of a typical Irish Pub. It whole bar area is quite big with multiple big and separate rooms, some with their own bar, that can also be used for private functions. They have a nice and enclosed beer garden and plenty of themed activities (such as pub quiz each monday evening and karaoke regularly on fridays). Pricing is fair and the bar is located in the really nice leisure area of Bonn-Endenich which offers plenty of other interesting locations and activities. Can...

so disappointing! when we wanted to pay we got a surprise. In the menu, the fish and chips were 3,90 (we thought it was cheap, but as the menu says so, it should be right). When we wanted to pay we were surprised to see it was 20 euros more expensive than first thought. We ask for the printed bill and the fish and chips were 13.90. We check again and there was a line very far away from the 3.90 that was supposed to be the one from the 13,90 that according to the bill, was the price for that food. What a way to fool the clients, don't tell now that you don't have the money to print the menus again or correct the price in a way that doesn't lead...

Recently a lot of our favourite beers vanished from the menu. Traditional beers were substituted by cheaper and/or local brands which just can't really compete with the originals, but the prices stayed the same or even went up. We're kind of disappointed about this development.

Otherwise, the atmosphere is nice and the food got a lot better recently. Great burgers. A waitress called Hanna is keeping this pub a great place to be, several times we've made the experience that she does everything for the guests to feel at home. Seriously, give her a raise...
