Osteria Pozzo Antico da Silvana — Restaurant in Brühl

We called last minute to make a reservation for our family, and they kindly accommodated us right away. The service throughout was excellent — friendly, attentive, and truly 10 out of 10.

For starters, I had the carpaccio, my wife chose the vitello tonnato, and our kids enjoyed pasta and lasagna. Everything was delicious, especially the starters and the pasta dishes for the kids.

For the main course, we had the bistecca al pepe verde with red wine and a ribeye. While the flavors were great, the meat was a little tough for my taste, which I mentioned to the staff. Despite that, the overall experience, from the warm atmosphere to the excellent service, really stood out.

Because of the great hospitality and how well they took care of us, this place definitely deserves 5 stars. We’ll happily...

Ein sehr gutes italienisches Restaurant in Brühl. Man sitzt hier in einem wunderschönen Ambiente eines alten Keller Gewölbes. Alte, teils antike Tische und Stühle werden äußerst geschickt mit alten und modernen Interieur kombiniert. Ein perfekter Ort zum Wohlfühlen und um gut zu Speisen. Sehr interessant ist auch der alte Tiefbrunnen, der lt. Beschreibung bei den damaligen Umbau- und Renovierungsarbeiten entdeckt wurde.

Die Speisekarte ist prall gefüllt mit italienischen Spezialitäten. Es gibt auch eine große Steakkarte mit einem sehr guten Preis- Leistungsverhältnis. Zum Beispiel 450 Gramm Argentinisches Entrecote für knapp über 30 Euro ist schon einmal eine preisliche Kampfansage. Hinzu kommen noch diverse Gerichte von der Tafel. Die Wein-Karte ist auch ordentlich. Die Weine sind jedenfalls gut ausgewählt. Unser Roter Primitivo war eine Wucht. Die Zubereitung der bestellten Gerichte war delikat und schmackhaft. Allen hat das Essen sehr gut geschmeckt. Einzig meine Pizza Capriciosa war in der Mitte etwas zu weich, jedoch trotzdem noch lecker. Der Service war sehr freundlich. Da das Restaurant sehr gut besucht war, war das Servicepersonal jedoch auch ziemlich ausgelastet. So hätten wir gerne noch das ein oder andere Getränk mehr bestellen wollen.

Bei schönen Wetter kann man auch draussen sitzen. Eigene Restaurant Parkplätze gibt es auch. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist auch insgesamt absolut angemessen.

Found this restaurant near my Airbnb looks good but some informations on the menu are not right (saying there’s no cheese but there is…) You can only pay by German card (first time I heard this) They should have say it once we come inside the restaurant, but wait until the end … And don’t forget to ask for “still” water because they give you sparkle without agreement and of course you have to pay for it (3,50€) Really disappointed...
