Romana Ristorante — Restaurant in Burgau

We had dinner yesterday in this place. We understand that it was quite busy but the service was totaĺly unprepared for this amount of customers. When we asked how long it will take to prepare the meal, the answer was 20 mins but in the end it took ONE hour. Food was decent but nothing special. We came as a family and the welcome was incredibly unpleasant. We started by asking if the waitress spoke English, and she said no.... but then she told us there were no tables available because everything was reserved, even though there were two tables free on the terrace and about fifteen inside. Wir hatten am Wochenende eine Geburtstagsfeier mit 60 Gästen im Romana (geschlossene Gesellschaft) und es war alles perfekt. Am Samstag in der Früh waren bereits alle Tische vorbereitet, die Deko wurde von uns selbst gemacht. Auf Anfrage wäre dies aber auch übernommen worden. Als Essen hatten wir ein italienisches Buffet das nicht nur fantastisch geschmeckt hat sondern auch alles in rauen Mengen vorhanden war.
