After living in cologne for 5+ years and trying dozens and dozens of sushi spots I can say hands down this is the best sushi in cologne…. Highly recommend you try the KAZAN . Aufgrund der guten Bewertungen hier gewesen und wir wurden nicht enttäuscht. Hier bekommt man traditionelles sowie hochwertig ausgefallenes Sushi und andere authentische japanische Spezialitäten. Die Zutaten waren alle sehr frisch.

Das Essen bewerte ich deswegen mit der vollen Punktzahl.

Der Service war leider nicht perfekt, das lag aber vor allem daran, dass die Mitarbeiterin (oder Chefin?) sehr beschäftigt war, es sah so aus als ob sehr viel zur Abholung vorbereitet würde. Ob sonst auch mehr Mitarbeiter im Restaurant sind weiß ich nicht.

Das Ambiente in dem kleinen Lokal war wild zusammengestellt aus japanisch-modernem sowie westlichem Weihnachts-Kitsch mit einem liebevollen Bezug zu Katzen überall bis zu dem Geschirr und Besteck. Wer Japan und bspw. Shinjuku in Tokio kennt wird an einiges erinnert - das hier ist kein traditionell japanischer Stil den in Deutschland viele Sushi Restaurants nachmachen, das hier ist der modern-chaotische Stil. Von da her mal eine interessante Abwechslung, aber super bequem oder einladend um lange im Restaurant zu bleiben fand ich es nicht.

This is a neat and lovely restaurant. Don't judge the exterior. Inside it welcomes you with clean tables for 2 to 6 persons. The sushi is freshly prepared. Give the crispy sushi a try. You won't regret it. The service in this restaurant is very polite and excellent. If we are again in Cologne we'll definitely visit this nice...
