We found Stadtkeller through a Google search on our first night in Dachau and had a wonderful time!
We don’t speak German, so we were a little worried about how we would order food, but our worries vanished as soon as we stepped into the beer garden! The chef at the outside grill could tell we were tourists and started speaking to us in English and when he found out it was our first day in Germany, he provided menu recommendations and found a someone to seat us.
Our server was amazing and provided fast and friendly service. Most importantly, the food and the beer were delicious! We ordered the bratwurst with potato salad, Wiener Schnitzel, spareribs and souvlaki (grilled items only available during the summer months) and we drank helles bier which was light and delicious!
5 stars for being tourist-friendly, providing excellent service, and serving delicious and reasonably priced food!

Read moreWe traveled from the U.S. to Munich and took a day trip to Dachau to visit the historical memorial. We highly recommend the Schnitzel “Wiener Art” with pommes and salad—it was absolutely delicious! The portions were huge, definitely enough to share between two people. A wonderful dining...
