Mythos — Restaurant in Donauwörth

Rude staff. We arrived and waited 10 minutes till a waiter tell us to sit in the first table of the row, where there was not service set (cutlery and napkins). We sat and waited other 10 minutes until the waiter brought us the Menu in German. Yes! We know we are in Germany but a Menu in English is expected in a touristic and adviced place, especially if it is good rated at Google. Not Menu in English at the first go. I called the waiter to come to our table to ask him for a Menu in English. He saw me, nodded and that was all. Other 5 minutes on top without being attended. Vorneweg, an der Küche liegt es nicht - ob es am Datum lag kann ich nicht sagen (Lichterfest 2024), aber hier gab es an diesem Tag große Herausforderungen in der Organisation.

Die Vorspeise kam zusammen mit den Hauptgerichten und dem Hinweis, wenn man die Vorspeise vorneweg haben möchte, dann solle man das sagen, ansonsten kommen alle Gerichte zusammen. Verstehe ich nicht warum es dann die Rubrik Vor-Speise überhaupt gibt. Kartenzahlung ist nach dem Wunsch der zu zahlen nicht mehr möglich bzw. änderbar weil bereits bonniert. Mag sein, aber in der heutigen erwarte ich die Frage schon beim Zahlwunsch. Dann auch noch im Kopf mehrfach verrechnet (ist uns erst danach aufgefallen, wurde aber anstandslos erstattet) und unglaublich unfreundlich im ganzen Wesen - wir wurden angeblich sogar vom Chef bedient.

Absolut schade, denn das was auf den Tellern gelandet ist war gut um nicht zu sagen sehr gut (wären die Teller vorgewärmt gewesen, wäre es ganz klar sehr gut).

Aufgrund der Missstimmung und einer leichten Streitlage werden wir dieses Restaurant nicht mehr besuchen und können es leider bis auf die Küche auch nicht...
