Coffee is good and service is good, but the seating arrangements are not particularly comfortable, mostly high bar stools and some wobbly low stools, with a window nook that invites seating but isn’t laid out to really work when you try it, which is a pity. Ich bin gestern eher zufällig mit dem Rad durch Eberswalde und habe dort für einen Espresso und ein Stück Kuchen im Firstcrack gehalten. Ich bin was Kaffee oder besser es Espresso angeht eigentlich recht wählerisch und angenehm überrascht gewesen, als mir von der netten Frau hinterm Tresen die Frage gestellt wurde, ob ich die Bohne eher fruchtig oder italienisch kräftig mag. Normalerweise bin ich ja schon positiv überrascht, wenn ein echter Siebträger und ein Kaffeemühle vorhanden ist und auch genutzt wird. Ehrlich gesagt an jedem anderen Tag hätte sie mich damit schon gehabt. Dieser Tag lief für mich nicht ganz so rund, ich wurde von einem parkenden Auto per zügiger Türöffnung vom Rad gefegt. Mit diesen Blessuren am Tresen stehend wurde ich auch gleich noch freundlich verarztet und mit einem Schraubendreher konnte sie mir auch noch weiterhelfen. Um die Liste vollständig zu machen, die Toilette war auch sehr gepflegt und sauber. Das alles in einem von außen eher unauffälligem Laden. Beautiful cafe and coffee, a beautiful selection of specialty coffee was on offer when I visited with my partner and brother, we tried a couple of v60's and a siphon and they where all really delicious and notably different. A very hospitable service from the Barista who had a profound knowledge on all things coffee....
