We tought the menu seemed nice and not so pricy but as we were seated inside we didn't get any attention at all from the staff. When we asked politely for the spieskarte we were sneased at and tild that they hadn' t got any time for us. And we probably couldn't get and food as we dit not stay at the hotel and hadn't reserved. Old world charm with great service. We arrived late from Poland and was met by the owners. The gave us our key and we took our luggage to the room to rest. The Gasthof is next door to a church with a large bell tower. It is set in the middle of town and is easy to find. The complimentary breakfast was excellent. An isolated town, but a friendly welcome from this family run hotel. We stayed in hte annexe building on the ground floor. It needed 3 doors unlocked and locked each time you went in and out (a bit annoying) and the room was damp and cold despite high temperatures outside. Old fashioned bathroom but clean. Breakfast nothing to write home about and coffee was definately just brown water. Stay a bit nearer Bad Berneck is my suggestion, especially considering hte price here. Restaurant cooking very...
