By accident I found this hotel in the surroundings where I had to make some customer visits. It looked good on their website and the rate was OK. Upon arrival I was appointed to a very nice and spacious room, it was decorated in a modern way but no too 'hip' everything very functional. Decided to eat in the hotel restaurant which was a very good choice. high standard quality of food, reasonable prices. If I saw how many 'locals' entered the restaurant on a Monday evening I can only say it must be good. Breakfast was in a separate room, whit a very nice and healthy buffet. No complaints? yes a small one. I woke up early in the morning due to the light entering through the turned out to be very thin curtains. managed to fall a sleep again but for the ligth sleeper it could be a problem. Upon checking out I made a comment about this and the landlady informed me that indeed rooms 208, 209 and 210 had these thin curtains as part of the new decoration. She made a note of it and assured me that for a next booking I would be appointed in another room with thicker curtains. That is the way a hotel should act upon some remarks. All in all a very good experience. I will certainly go back and I am sure that the landlady remembers where...

It was necessary to have the lights on even during the day. The bulbs were dim so it was a pretty dismal atmoshphere. We mentioned this on departure but got a disiinterested response. The food was fine with local specialities, mostly pork based, stuffed pigs stomach being the local favourite. Not for vegans!|The town, which was described as charming, was not. It has a large industrial area through which we had to drive to reach the hotel. Sakt Martin, a neighbouring village is far more charming and typical of the region. Hotel staff need training in hospitality and...
