Sushi Palace Erftstadt — Restaurant in Erftstadt

Update below: (One star) I am half Japanese and what a disappointment this was…. The rice in the sushi was absolutely disgusting (to paint you a picture it was soggy, clumpy and was almost mochi, that the soya sauce did not even soak into the rice) additionally the fish was so thinly cut (1-2mm) which no Japanese restaurant would normally serve! Then the poke bowl was soaked not only in sauce but the lettuce they added was wilted and old. All for 44€ (poke bowl and 2x 15piece sushi set). I only hope no one gets sick that would be horrible! A true warning for those wanting to order here!

UPDATE: after taking the owner’s generous offer we ordered the same meal to be able to compare properly and was positively surprised to see that all complaints were corrected and greatly improved on. If this truly was a one night disaster and the quality remains as they delivered tonight, I will happily order here again! Additionally customer...

Everything was very cold (some of rolls were definitely made in advance and left in the fridge for a while). Rolls were 90% cold rice. Poke bowl had tuna trash. The starter was most embarrassing since we couldn’t understand if it was chicken or wood.

Very very little fish, and extremely expensive! More expensive than in our favorite beautiful restaurant, where they put plenty of fish and have wonderful service.

Mega leckeres Sushi! Wir haben gestern eine Stunde vor Ladenschluss eine Partybox XL (55 Stück unterschiedlichster Sushi) bestellt.

Sushi Palace hat diese große Bestellung so kurz vor Schluss noch angenommen und in 45 Minuten geschafft. Wir haben diese problemlos und gut verpackt abholen können. Das Personal dort war sehr nett und hat uns sogar noch extra viel Ingwer dazu gegeben, nachdem sie gehört hatten das ich Ingwer gerne mag und das war für mich natürlich nochmal ein zusätzlicher Gewinn zum sehr leckeren Sushi.

Die Box hatte generell eine große Auswahl an unterschiedlichsten Ausführungen von rolls. Und da war wirklich für jeden etwas dabei und vorallem zum ausprobieren mega gut.

Ich würde hier aufjedenfall nochmal bestellen, vorallem wegen der hohen Qualität und dem guten Geschmack.

Natürlich ist es teuer, aber ich denke die meisten wissen erstens gar nicht wie viel Arbeit es ist, den ganzen Tag Sushi zu machen und dazu war es auch einfach sehr gut. Und im Vergleich wenn man in Köln Sushi holt würde man denke ich für die Menge noch mehr...
