MoselWeinstuben — Restaurant in Fürstenfeldbruck

We arrived at this restaurant after it had closed at about 11pm (woops!); the restaurant only stays open late if it's a busy night. However, the owner, Rainer, invited us in anyways and treated us to a traditional Bavarian dish that consisted of ham, onions, radish, and a lemon-lime sauce. We stayed and chatted with the owner for a couple hours and had a great time. The hospitality was very appreciated, and so was Rainer's company. For a foreigner though, it was a little intimidating entering the restaurant as the restaurant is literally the bottom floor of a home that's converted into a kitchen, bar, and dining room. Das erste Restaurant, in das ich aufgrund von Empfehlungen, nicht des Essens wegen rein bin. Den Wirt, der als einer der größten RUNRIG - Fans hier in Bruck bekannt ist, musste ich als ebenso großer RUNRIG- und Schottlandfan kennenlernen, wenn ich schon nur ein paar Schritte davon entfernt wohne ;-) Und wir wurden nicht enttäuscht. Urige, gemütliche Stimmung bei gutem Essen, süffigem Wein und noch besserer Musik unserer Herzensband. Und was mich sehr berührt hat, dass wir mit "Loch Lomond", der heimlichen Nationalhymne Schottlands, verabschiedet wurden. Es war für meine Freundin und mich sehr emotional, laut singend mit dem Wirt an der Bar zu stehen und uns wie bei einem Konzert zu fühlen. Vielen Dank an Reiner für diesen wunderschönen Abend...
