Italfisch — Restaurant in Fellbach

The service was horrible and the food was mediocre. Their website states that they are able to make substitutions for people who do not eat fish. We had a vegetarian friend with us who asked the server if it is possible to have the special of the day without the fish and she also confirmed with the server that the sauce is not premade. When she got her food, mid way through, she realized there was 1 shrimp in there and it had look liked the chef picked out the shrimps. Obviously the sauce is premade with the shrimp in it. The server lied. I had about half my pasta dish leftover so I simply asked a server to pack it up for me. She rudely looked at me and grabbed my plate. We then paid the bill and ready to go but the server still had not brought my doggy-bag back. I went looking for her and asked her for it. While the surroundings might be somewhat of a turn down, once you are in the yard and on the terrace, the atmosphere is actually quite lovely. The furnishing is kept simply but very clean and tidy, the place is obviously very well looked after. The service is very friendly and forthcoming. The rotating lunch menu invites for you to a second visit. The salmon pasta and Mediterranean swordfish, too, were rather simple dishes but well prepared and treated authentic....

Das Restaurant Italfisch besuchen wir schon seit Jahren und wir wurden noch nie enttäuscht. Ein reines Fischrestaurant im Stuttgarter Umkreis ist nicht oft zu finden und für uns ist dieses Restaurant mittlerweile eine Institution geworden. Beste Qualität und frischeste Ware zeichnen dieses Restaurant aus. In Verbindung mit einer bodenständigen aber doch innovativen Küche finden wir immer etwas neues auf der Karte, wechselnde Gerichte und immer mal eine neue Variation der Speisen zeichnen Francesco und sein Küchenteam aus. Egal was ich hier bisher genießen durfte, es war immer ausgezeichnet, superfrisch und einfach ein Genuss.

Nun zum Service, der ist absolut obere Liga! Manuel als Kopf des Serviceteams ist wirklich ein Profi und ein sehr herzlicher Mensch. Wir fühlen uns immer wohl und folgen gerne seinen Empfehlungen. Auch hier wurden wir noch nie enttäuscht, die Weinempfehlungen passten immer perfekt und ein nettes Gespräch runden das Ganze einfach sympathisch ab.

Italfisch, ein fantastisches Fischrestaurant und "la dolce vita" in reinster Form.
