China Town — Restaurant in Frankfurt

In my opinion, this restaurant offers by far the best dim sum in 200km range! According to my Singaporean and Macau friends, it's taste is absolutely genuine! The chefs are from Hong Kong and Guangzhou, and therrfore bring their fine culinaric master skills from the origin of Dim Sum. In my opinion, don't waste time and go there immediately! It's unfortunately slightly inconvenient to reach by public transport (a bit of walking from thr swimming bath), but there are many parking lots available. My recommendation: (Hagao 虾饺，Lobagou 萝卜糕，malagou 马拉糕，naihuangbao 奶黄包). Their friend noodles are also amazing! I come here regularly, and enjoy watching HK television. Etwas versteckt im Kleingartengebiet. Erinnert auch an unsere (schönen) Camping-Urlaube. Draußen rustikal, aber gut abgedeckt mit Zelten und Schirmen, innen kitschig-chinesisch. Toilettenbereich erinnerte auch irgendwie an den Camping-Platz.

Dafür war der Service perfekt und das preisgünstige Essen (große Portionen) schmeckte sensationell gut.

Wir bestellten ausschließlich von der chinesischen Spezialitätenkarte (u.a. halbe Ente mit Knochen, Fisch in Chilli-Soße, Curry-Garnelen, Auberginen mit Rindfleisch, gebratene Reisbandnudeln, Dumplings etc.). Wie man das in China so macht, stellten wir diese vielen verschiedenen Speisen in die Mitte, so dass jeder mal probieren konnte.

Keine scharfe Sichuan-Küche, sondern eher kantonesische bis Shanghai-Küche. Es werden aber auch eine Reihe von thailändischen Spezialitäten angeboten, die wir allerdings nicht probierten.

Apfelwein 0,25l für 2,80, nur eine Sorte Weißwein, trocken (0,2 l für 4,80 €, durchaus trinkbar), ansonsten Schmucker-Bier (u.a. Hefeweizen aus der Flasche für 4,50 €).

Eines ist klar: Es ist nicht wichtig, wo man ist/ißt, sondern mit wem man ist/ißt. Ein schöner Abend mit entsprechender Lautstärke im Nebenraum (die Stammtischbrüder, die sich dort vor uns schon vergnügten sowie die chinesischen Pärchen später versuchten uns zu...
