Today, my family and I chose to have dinner at this restaurant. our family has people from japan, brazil, germany and italy. because of that, our communication is often in English... I went through a horrible situation in that place. the waiter who was serving outside, was super rude and with a very ironic tone, said: girl, are you speaking english?? you are in germany and here you have to speak german. at first I thought he was joking and I replied that German was very difficult. and even so he continued to expose me, saying out loud that there I had to speak in German. at an Italian restaurant. and the worst, I wasn't even talking to him. when we spoke to him, my Italian husband spoke and my German family spoke. I was super uncomfortable. After that the food didn't go down well. my night is over. we currently have such a globalized world and exposing someone for not speaking the local language in a "foreign" restaurant is unacceptable. Very nice place to enjoy typical Italian dishes. We started the lunch with a “pane pizza” that brought us back to Naples. The first dish was “spaghetti ai frutti di mare” really delicious, pasta sauce and fish was full of flavor. Second dish was a “grigliata mista” very well cooked and plenty of really good side dishes.to finish the meal we took also a classic Italian dessert “TIRAMISU” No word is needed. Really good. 11.2018 Für 12 lustige Weiber gibt es nichts besseres als das Restaurant Doge. Das Personal erträgt alle lustigen Launen mit Fassung und geht auf die meisten Sonderwünsche ein. 12 Essen ungefähr gleich aufzutragen erfordert schon einiges an Organisation. Die Zeit wurde mit Weißbrot und Aioli überbrückt, reichlich... Weil das Essen, egal ob Lachspizza oder Grillplatte oder Lammkoteletts oder Calzone, Tortellini, Spaghetti etc. sehr lecker war, auf den Punkt gewürzt und gegart, die Lasagne noch sprudelnd, hat fast niemand etwas übriggelassen. Und den Rest Lachspizza haben wir mitgenommen. Also Lotti versichert, die schmeckt auch kalt. Bei so vielen Essern gibt es immer Sonderwünsche, das war gar kein Problem. Auch das Umbestellen nicht, allerdings haben wir bereits zubereitete Speisen natürlich bezahlt. Bei der Menge der Personen kann schon mal was verwechselt werden. Bei uns war es ein Aperitif. Den haben wir schnell vernichtet, damit es keiner merkt. Natürlich hätten wir uns aufregen können, aber was hätten wir davon außer schlechter Laune. Dass das nicht passiert ist, verdanken wir auch Franco, den wir einfach dauerhaft mit Beschlag belegt haben.
