Hotel Krone Gößweinstein - Restaurant Gößweinstein - Kaffee und Kuchen Gößweinstein — Restaurant in Gößweinstein

I spent one night at this hotel in May 2010, being on a trip with a group of students. As we were a large group, some of us received rooms in a different house, just a few meters from the main building. It was a lovely house, having nothing in common with impersonal hotel rooms, in brief, it made you feel like a guest in someone's home. We could take dinner at the hotel's restaurant and taste German beer made in a local brewery. I woke up early in the morning to be able to take a short walk on the quite streets of the village and admire the pilgrimage Holy Trinity Church, designed by the German architect Balthasar Neumann, something I could not do the previous night, as it had grown dark by the time we checked in. It seemed the ideal place for those looking to spend a relaxing holiday and avoid the crowd and noise of touristy areas. The furniture of the hotel rooms are originally from the 1930s. That is charming, but don´t expect the same comfort as in a modern furbished hotel. People who suffer from house dust mite allergy shouldn´t stay here (carpets).The restaurant is very good. It offers local specialities in good quality. (It won 1 star in Schlemmer-Atlas[German restaurant guide] in 2016). So I can really recommend the restaurant for the excellent food.||The staff could be better trained, and I definately disliked the coffee stains on the coffeepot from the previous day (breakfast).||||I stayed at the hotel for one night, so It was OK.
