Nice location. Pleasant and relaxing atmosphere. Beautiful authentic hall decoration. Amazing dishes. Everyone can find smth to his taste and eating habits. You can come here with your children, friends, study mates, colleagues or your beloved one. The staff is friendly and is always ready to answer your questions about the food served or cultural peculiarities of China. The staff speaks Chinese, English and German. So, it is a nice place to practise your Mandarin and have a pleasant time with your close people, as well as, to learn what gourmet paradise is. Here you may enjoy specifically Chinese dishes like Pekin soup, or Japanese sushi, but also can try frogs feet. Grilling stand will welcome those of you who prefer lowfat food. There are treats for a sweet tooth as well, which you may dip into a chocolate fountain. Also a pleasant moment is that from time to time the restaurant has reasonable discounts. Very average Chinese food. The typical cheap buffet, very oily dishes. The flavour was quite disappointing, perhaps this is just the consequence of westernised Chinese food but the unique flavours of Chinese cuisine was missing. There was some nice Sichuan spice in a meat dish though.

There is a nice range of dishes, but after the second plate the food begins to lose its appeal.

The price to food ratio is great, however, overeating isn't as enjoyable as spending the same amount for a smaller portion of food that tastes better and makes you feel better (for example try Tomi's Delikatessen!)

Asking to pay card for a few people resulted in a slightly agitated waitress. That was a little strange.

The current rating is misleadingly high. Its okay food, but I would not recommend going.

The restaurant is obnoxiously large for the overall output.

The all you can eat buffet lunch is excellent value - most of what is on offer is your average Chinese takeaway type food but that’s to be expected for €13.90 per person, you won’t get an ultra fancy buffet for that price anywhere in Germany.

What you DO get at Krone is a beautiful view, gorgeous decor, clean facilities and toilets and a decent range of food including hot, cold, and desserts.

The lunch buffet is well worth the price - can’t speak to the a la carte menu items but recommend a visit here for the beautiful decor and cheap lunch...
