Waitress tried to scam us.

My family of 6 had dinner here. Food was amazing but when it came to paying the bill, without showing us the breakdown (Rechnung), the waitress told us it was €165, we gave her a tip of €10 and wanted to pay by card. We also requested a bill upon successful payment. However, due to the poor connection of the room, our card payments didn't go through. Then the manager of the restaurant came to our table and asked if everything was okay as there was a €58 tip included. That wasn't the case and so we asked the waitress again how much our dinner costs. At this point, the waitress said she doesn't remember and was looking frantic.

Luckily, the manager was prompt enough to scan the til and flag the problem to us. This was all sorted in the end, thanks to the manager. But overall our experience with the waitress was cold and on top of the incident, our experience in this restaurant wasn't pleasant at all and no tourist...

Restaurant review only: I only went to the restaurant here and was not a guest. I passed this place a couple of times one evening and it was full of people.

We went into the restaurant and it was like the Brau hause in Munchen. This place is huge lots of room to sit and enjoy your time with other guests. The food was phenomenal! I first had the liver soup and it was very tasty. You can see pictures attached. Then I had the crackling pork with dumplings and white cabbage. The pork was cooked so perfect, the dumpling was so amazing compared to the ones I had in Munchen. And the cabbage…. The cabbage was so delicious and one of the best pickled cabbages I had EVER. The other dish was the Beef Goulash and it was also very good but a bit too salty but mixed with the bread dumplings that comes with it it was great. I hands down recommend you eating...

This restaurant was recommended by a friend...and what a good thing that I listened to him! The environment is a typical Bavarian Style restaurant - quaint and wooden. The menu is good and the portions are huge! If you are a meat eater (pork) come here and leave satisfied. I had the Schweins Haxe and it was fabulous. However, the nicest thing about this place is that it has live music...a man on an accordion playing...and to top it off some Bayerische Folk Dancing. I was eating and two young men from a local Dance Club (Tanzverein) showed up and entertained us...it was a pleasant surprise and I liked it. So...if you want good food, lots of it...entertainment....then eat here! You won't be...

I stayed at this hotel and was very satisfied. The room was clean and cozy, with a beautiful view of the town and the mountains. The whole hotel is decorated in an authentic style, just like the town itself — everything feels tasteful and full of character. The staff were friendly and attentive. Breakfasts were tasty and filling. In the evenings, traditional live music plays in the courtyard, and people relax both inside and outside. The atmosphere is warm and lively. There’s a church nearby, and the bells ring every 15 minutes, but it only adds to the local charm. Overall, it was a very pleasant stay.

Looking for authentic Bavarian food and we scored! Not only was the ambiance nice but they even had a band with an accordion. Wife had the leek soup and venison goulash. I had the Pork with potatoes and beer sauce along with a side of kraut 🤤 delicious! Micheal the waiter who was very nice, delivered promptly! They topped the expectations with meeting Barbara "Top chef" followed with a senior gentleman delivering Augustiner Trophen shots! Wonderful time with our local friends and Mother-In-Law, Ingrid! WILL BE BACK😉!
