Hotel Villa Behr — Restaurant in Gemeindeverwaltungsverband Wendlingen am Neckar

We were not informed that there would be a wedding taking place on the day of arrival and that we could not eat in the restaurant (not inside, and not in the garden). We chose this hotel as an intermediate stop on our way back from Italy because of it’s location (close to highway) and lovely outside garden to spend our last evening with our co travelers. We were traveling with a baby, so we could not go elsewhere to eat. Only baby monitor distance basically. When we mentioned this, we were given the option of roomservice but no compensation whatsoever. With the wedding going on, we were not going to pay that much for food that we could not enjoy in the outside setting and that would probably not be the same quality due to the wedding getting priority. Room temperature was 28 degrees when we entered. We didn’t expect airco, but they could have at least opened the windows/closed the blinds prior to arrival. After all, we could only check in at 17:00. The contact lenses of a previous guest were still on the bathroom floor. The main room light did not work either. There was also a lot of noise from the wedding. Better communication or a reduced night rate/ some form of compensation could have avoided this...

Good: The room is large, well heated and pleasant, although a bit old. The bed is comfortable. Breakfast is served in the hotel's Italian restaurant, and it is good, although a little lacking in variety. Friendly and collaborative staff||||Improvable: Tiny and improper front desk of what you expect from the hotel when paying such a price. It makes you want to run away in your first impression. But do not do it ... the rest they offer is much better. Maybe because of the coincidence with a major fair in Stuttgart, the price we paid was exorbitant (almost € 300 per room)||Italian restaurant of good quality in the basement of the hotel. We ate well and well acclimated.||They should change the windows. Although I understand that they try to maintain the glamor of the old factory, you hear the traffic of the street.||The shower in room 219 is not well designed. The water escapes through the floor due to a bad inclination and...
