Stayed in Germany for 2 weeks. This place was great. Been here 4 times in a that time span. Staff was friendly and they engaged in conversation which was nice bThey spoke good English, and helped me with ordering (don’t speak German). My bill came to €14.50 for a pizza and 2 beers, what I’d expect and worth the money (hence the 2 stars). However, I handed the server a €100 bill and received €82 in change. When I questioned the server about the €3.50 I was due, they repeatedly said “that doesn’t include the tip.” I thought a tip is decided by the customer based on the quality of service (and not assumed). Das Courage war eigentlich immer eine tolle Gerlinger Institution, mit den neuen Pächtern wars das aber erstmal für mich! Preise haben gut angezogen für das was man kriegt. Wäre ja noch zu verschmerzen aber wie ich behandelt wurde, als ich zahlen wollte, war unter aller Sau. Wir waren eine große Gruppe und ich wollte gehen, Bedienung kam ewig nicht. Dann bin ich zur Theke um zu bezahlen und musste mich anraunzen lassen (an dem Tisch wurde nix bestellt, ob ich sicher da gesessen bin, genervtes Augenrollen, ich sollte den Tisch zeigen, "Mädle da bist du sicher nicht gesessen!" etc.) Als er die Bestellung im System dann am Nachbartisch gefunden hat, wurde erstmal kräftig über die Unfähigkeit des Kellners hergezogen.
