Extremely Disappointing Experience at this McDonald's in Gronau (Westfalen)

I recently visited a McDonald's location in Gronau (Westfalen) and I must say it was a highly disappointing experience. From the incorrect order to the unprofessional staff, everything seemed to go wrong.

To start with, I ordered a burger that was supposed to come with bacon. However, when the order arrived, there was no bacon in it. I kindly informed the staff about the mistake, expecting them to rectify it. To my surprise, they took the burger back and added bacon, but then they forget to add jalapenos, which were supposed to be an extra topping that I had paid for separately. It was frustrating to receive a burger that still didn't meet my original order.

Adding to the frustration was the poor quality of the food. The chicken burger I ordered was far from satisfactory. The chicken itself was neither crispy nor flavorful—it felt wet and soft, almost as if it had been sitting for a while. Even the bacon pieces in the burger were poorly made and incredibly small, hardly worth the additional 1.60 euros or more that I paid for them.

To make matters worse, when I decided to have the salad, I realized that the dressing provided was not what I had ordered. Instead of balsamic dressing, I received a dressing meant for a Caesar salad. What surprised me even more was the response I received from the cashier when I brought this issue to her attention. She simply said, "If you saw it wasn't the right dressing, why did you open it?" This kind of response is unacceptable and shows a lack of professionalism and customer service skills.

Furthermore, I observed a staff member who had been cleaning, but after finishing, she proceeded to stand next to the cashier and handle orders without washing her hands. This lack of hygiene and disregard for basic cleanliness standards is highly concerning.

Overall, my visit to this McDonald's was a complete letdown. The incorrect order, the poor quality of the food, and the unprofessional staff all contributed to an extremely dissatisfying experience. I expected better from a well-known fast-food chain like McDonald's. I hope they take immediate action to improve their service and maintain the standards that customers...

I would like start with the positive feedback and later talk about the negative. First of all, this mc Donald's is nice and the service is utterly good. Especially, when I compare this mc Donald's to the one in the Netherlands, it is completely different. The terrace and the mc cafe are just perfect. One time I had a hair in my wrap and the manager helped me directly and I was super satisfied with the service. However, the cashier was not very friendly when I said that there was a woman's hair in my wrap.

However there are downsides to this review as well. This is the third time in a row (evening times after 23:00) that the mc Donald's is utterly dirty. I understand that the staff is deeply busy but still the restaurant should be clean. Second the music is always to loud and every time I ask for a cup for my coffee (tasse), I receive the coffee in a take-away cup.

Pros: modern mc Donald's with a nice mc cafe good variety of menus 24/7 most of the staff is friendly (not everyone)

Cons: most of the time dirty staff does not always want to make a mc cafe in a normal coffee cup. They prefer a take-away cup even if I politely ask...

We went inside to order..big mac menu and a crunchy chicken burger menu, 2x chive sauce.. Took about 20 minutes from order to receiving a white paper bag (?) with apparently our food and drinks with straws on the side. Went back to the car, opened the bag to find cold french fries and both burgers were cold too..on top of that the sauce wasn't in the bag and my cola had zero bubbles and wasn't cold at all. Very bad experience ☹

Update 31-10-2022 Has not changed at all..cheeseburger and 9pcs spicy nuggets..both cold when served. tip Drive another 20 minutes to enschede McD , always fresh...
