I had the absolute pleasure of dining at Kobe Nord a month ago, and I’m still thinking about it! The sushi? Incredible. Every bite was packed with fresh, bold flavors and beautifully presented. It’s clear the chefs take pride in their craft. The fish was fresh, the rice was perfectly seasoned, and the variety of rolls was impressive! Shortly after our food arrived, we checked if the owners had changed. The look of the food was different , the portion size grown way too big, and the taste lacking, overly soy and no other flavours to be found anywhere. Kobe Nord in Hamburg liefert ein rundes, wenn auch unaufregendes Gesamtpaket. Das Essen ist in Ordnung – solide zubereitet, geschmacklich stimmig, aber ohne echten Aha-Effekt. Die Karte ist gut strukturiert, und die Portionen passen zum Preis.

Der Service ist freundlich, zurückhaltend und weitgehend aufmerksam. Man fühlt sich willkommen, auch wenn das Personal eher neutral als persönlich auftritt. Sonderwünsche werden aufgenommen und zuverlässig umgesetzt – ohne lange Diskussion.

Preislich bewegt sich das Restaurant im fairen Rahmen. Für die gebotene Qualität stimmt das Verhältnis – man hat nie das Gefühl, übervorteilt zu werden.

Was allerdings fehlt, ist Atmosphäre. Der Gastraum wirkt etwas kühl und austauschbar, das Ambiente bleibt blass. Es fehlt an Charakter oder einem echten Wiedererkennungswert – vieles wirkt funktional, aber wenig einladend.
