Good experience! My partner & I took the mixed grill for 2 persons which was €40,00. The amount of meat was perfect for the 2 of us! The Tzatziki was definitely home-made and full of taste! A lot of garlic, standard in Germany 😂 they don't use it that often in the Netherlands.

The temperature in the restaurant was the only thing bothering us, it was high. The staff doesn't speak English so we had to translate to Germany. No problem for us, just a little side note.

The taste of the food was perfect, only we didn't like the liver. They don't serve the in the Netherlands at Greek restaurants, happy they don't haha! That's just a matter of taste tho. 🤪 Also they serve 0,5L soda's! That's amazing.

My friend and I still discuss the meal we had here. The weather had taken a turn for the worse and we were hungry and spotted a Greek restaurant. Parked the motorcycles and, of course, entered the place through the bar entrance instead of the restaurant. Essen wie im Urlaub, herzlicher Service wie im Urlaub, Uozo wie im Urlaub! Wer wirklich original griechisches Essen haben möchte, ist nur bei dieser alteingesessen griechischen Familie seit min 25Jahren genau richtig. Hier gibt es alles an typischen Gerichten der griechischen Küche. Ich hatte den Grillteller Athena und musste unbedingt den Rest einpacken lassen. Alle Fleischsorten absolut zart und mit richtig köstlichem Grillgeschmack. Ich habe jetzt endlich mal meinen Willen bekommen, bei Besuch in Helmstedt, dieses griechische Restaurant wählen zu dürfen und sogar meine Schwester war völlig hin und weg. Zum Schluss noch tolle Gespräche und lecker Abschluss mit eisigem Ouzo. So wie ich es von früher kannte und mir nie wieder begegnet ist, ausser hier. Die Gemütlichkeit in den modernisierten Sitzecken hat uns begeistert und der Charme zwischen Alt und Neu sorgt für die richtige Mischung zwischen Urigkeit und modernen irgendwie coolem eleganten Stil.
