This place delivers exactly what you want from a classic German ice café. The portions are generous, the presentation is fun, and everything tastes as good as it looks.

My wife ordered a big fruit cup, and it came stacked with fresh strawberries, kiwi, banana, and melon over rich scoops of ice cream, topped with whipped cream and a crisp wafer. It was refreshing, colorful, and perfect for a summer afternoon.

I got the Spaghettieis, which is a must if you’re in Germany. The vanilla ice cream pressed to look like pasta, topped with berry sauce and white chocolate “parmesan,” was spot on. Tart berries balanced the sweet ice cream, and the texture made it even more enjoyable.

Service was friendly, and we didn’t wait long even though the tables outside were full. The atmosphere felt relaxed, with plenty of locals enjoying their treats.

The prices are very reasonable too, especially compared to Amberg. You get big, well-made sundaes for less, which makes it easy to bring family or friends without worrying about the bill.
