Restaurant II Buongustaio — Restaurant in Ismaning

I've visited Il buongustaio several times over the last year. The pizza was always delicious (have tried different types) and well done. The ingredients tasted fresh and were used in the right quantity - you can see that the pizzaiolo is a true Italian. The tiramisu, ice-cream and profiterol were all tasty. Including the drinks the final bill was very reasonable, the price/quality ratio is good. The location is simple and clean. The owner and the staff paid attention to us and was engaging in conversation with us and also other guests. They seem to be always in a good mood, how pleasant! I'll come again and recommend Il buongustaio...

Good food, and a reasonably diverse menu. I've had the salmon, the carpaccio, and the sea bass. The salmon was ok, the carpaccio was mild, and I didn't like the sea bass. It's a good place for a small group lunch, and it's reasonably priced. Only one waiter speaks English, but they are very understanding if you don't know German or Italian. War gerade im Il Buongustario zum Mittagessen. Habe mir dort eine Pizza Triestina 28cm 7,90€ + extra Oliven 0,80€, einen Tomatensalat 4,50€ und ein Tiramisu 4,50€ bestellt. Leider war ich ziemlich enttäuscht.

Der Tomatensalat bestand hauptsächlich aus roten Zwiebeln und ein paar labbrigen und sehr lieblos angerichteten Tomaten.

Die Pizza war reichlich belegt. Nur hat sie nicht so gut geschmeckt.Es fehlte vorne und hinten an Gewürzen und die verwendeten Produkte schienen mir eher aus der Dose, als frisch zu sein.

Das Tiramisu hingeben hat wirklich einen sehr appetitlichen Eindruck erweckt. Jedoch täuschte der erste Eindruck. Das Tiramisu bestand leider nur aus Biskuit, Sahne und bisschen Kakaopulver. Da hätte ich bei einem Italiener mehr erwartet.

Der Service war an sich wirklich ganz gut. Die Kellner waren sehr nett und gingen auf Wünsche des Gastes ein.

Das Ambiente im Lokal hat mich jedoch nicht so überzeugt, da es keinen gemütlichen Eindruck erweckte. Habe mich eher wie in einem Frühstückssaal im Altenheim gefühlt.

Da mich der Geschmack leider nicht überzeugt hat, würde ich das Il Buongustaio nicht noch einmal besuchen bzw. weiterempfehlen. Wenn man allerdings auf die schnelle eine günstige Pizza essen möchte und man selbst nicht so große Erwartungen hat, ist man hier auf jeden...
