SPICY Thai Food — Restaurant in Ismaning

I come here once or twice per year for lunch and each and every time I say this was the last time. As I stand in the line with a dozen or so other frustrated customers after ridiculously long waits not knowing what is going on and where the food is.

I don’t know why I do this to myself but here I am again.

Unreal service. Really. You can have the best food in the world but this is just unacceptable.

War schon einmal besser

Natürlich war die Lage mitten im Industriegebiet noch nie toll. Gleiches gilt für die spartanische Inneneinrichtung. Aber die einstige Besitzerin (oder Pächterin, keine Ahnung) machte der thailändischen Küche alle Ehre. Dazu kam eine sehr angenehme Umgangsform, zudem merkte man, die Arbeit bereitet ihr Freude. Jetzt scheinen Chinesen den Imbiss zu betreiben. Eher muffelig im Umgangston, aber vor allem ist das keine Thaiküche mehr. Da steht auf der Speisekarte extra in großen Lettern "schaaarf" und dann hat das fertige Gericht eine Chili noch nicht einmal mit dem Fernglas gesehen. 20 Minuten Wartezeit im fast leeren Imbiss seien nur am Rande erwähnt. Vielleicht wars ein Ausrutscher, dann zumindest ein...

Great place, affordable prices at least for Munich (I've got a lunch for 7 eur-somethig), pad thai was quite good (don't expect same taste as in Thailand, it's different, but the taste is very good anyway). Can recommend...
