This family gem in Königstein has everything you need to enjoy a nice meal. Fresh ingredients paired with excellent service and great wine makes Da Totó our favorite restaurant in town. The setting along a cobblestone street leading to the cute pedestrian side of town and across a beautiful Catholic Church with its bell ringing every so often makes the experience even more marvelous. Service is consistently great with multi-language staff (German/English/Spanish). Nothing is too much trouble for them. Huge menu, perhaps too many items. Prices are very budget friendly. Now, if this had been the only Italian restaurant I've ever been to in my life I'd say it's good. But this isn't the case. We had pizzas for the two lil kids (kids enjoyed them but to me they lacked flavor in that the sauce and cheese combo tasted flat/boring. My daughter had the lasagne and while ok, she said her mom's is much better. My wife had the bolognese and it was also ok... just not inspired. I had the calzone. It was hearty and somewhat interesting but maybe it's just me, but I've had better elsewhere. My wife and I agreed we'll go elsewhere for Italian next time. Real nice and authentic Italian restaurant in the heart of the city. Staff are super nice and professional. Intended to have a pizza here and then I saw the special offer for the day.
