If you feel like a coffee in Königswinter this is a must.

Coffee wise their brew is quite solid nothing disappointing whatsoever. They offer as well a nice selection of food, sweets and pastries. It's on the cheap end of the spectrum while keeping all the quality on their products and their service. The staff was helpful and very service oriented, simply wonderful.

Ambient wise is a most see, everything seems to fall into place and at least to my taste was quite nice. The store on the other hand although the products are of very nice quality they are...

The Kaufmannsladen is a cute blend of a café with a book and conceptstore. This makes for a really nice and relaxed atmosphere. We go there usually after a hike in the Siebengebirge. They also serve great coffee and homemade cakes. That's a clear recommendation. The quiche is rather disappointing, though. You better stick to the cakes, indeed. Coffees are always flavoursome. Paninis are the nice blend of delicious and healthiness, and come with salad. And the cakes...the carrot cake was moist, tasty and fresh. Definitely good...
