I noticed I was being charged two separate MwSt (sales tax) rates—one at 19% and another at 7%—both listed under the total. This is especially confusing because I did not dine in, and I’m unclear why I’m being charged restaurant-level tax for takeaway. The breakdown of these taxes also didn’t seem to align with the prices of the items I ordered.

Additionally, the service experience was disappointing. I requested steak, but the server initially claimed they were out. I pointed out that steak was still available, and he acknowledged it but told me I'd have to pay for a full portion from another section. In the end, I ordered shrimp instead, but the receipt included charges as if I’d gotten both, making my meal unnecessarily expensive due to a price difference between shrimp and steak.

To make matters worse, I paid before 9 PM, but I was told I could not sit down to eat—everything had to be packed to-go. Still, the bill reflected charges that implied I was dining in. No utensils, napkins, or any basic takeaway items were provided with the meal, which added to the frustration.

Lastly, while I respect any hardworking staff regardless of background, the overall service felt untrained and unprofessional, which detracted from the dining experience.

This place has always served a mean burrito and as they've been progressing, their other dishes have gone from average to awesome. They offer spicey carnitas, chicken, and beef, with occasional visiting meats like buffalo flavored chicken. You can put this in a burrito, a bowl, a quesadilla, or chips, that's as difficult as the menu gets, which is a good thing! Since they can concentrate on a short menu, the ingredients just seem fresher. Once they load your burrito with meat, you can throw cheese, queso, sour cream and guac (extra cost), pico, pinto beans, brown/white rice, and sauces, from mild to spicey. Literally these guys get so loaded up, the burrito looks like a small baby. Sometimes I can successfully eat it without it ripping apart, sometimes I need a fork. They also serve horchata, which has gotten a lot better, before it was a watery, light on cinnamon taste. Now it taste closer to the rice milk, cinnamon flavored drink I know and love. The one drag is lack of seating, they have two tables and bar seating for 4 to 5. Doesn't take long to fill up and also gets hot in there. So just be ready to take it to go, but don't wait to long, otherwise your beautiful burrito baby will be falling apart from all the lovely...
