Sylt again and definitely another highlight you should visit. In case you are lucky and it is one of this insainly sunny days out here you should consider going to have breakfast at the "Kupferkanne" at Kampen. The place opens at 10:00 am and if you wish to have and outside place with view over the "Watt" you better be there early. The place fills up quickly and is extremely popular. They are of cause famous for there daily fresh cakes but belive me the breakfast is equally delicious and it will definitely fill you up for a long day at the beach later on. It's reasanbly prized for what you get, which is not always in Kampen the case. Definitely one of my recommendations for Sylt! One thing you should be prepared for, they do not accept card payments so you need to have...

This brunch spot is a must-visit. All the tables are among trees and bushes so that each little outdoor section of the restaurant feels cozy and hidden. There is a beautiful view of the sea that you can enjoy while you eat and the food could not be better. Fresh bread, cheeses, meats, and fruit make this a truly memorable breakfast experience. The service is cheerful and attentive and we just all around really enjoyed our experience here. Kupferkanne is truly one of a kind and if we ever return to Sylt, we will certainly be back. We were there for breakfast but we saw many people enjoying their famous cakes, which looked...

Lovely location but very busy. Many tables for coffee and cake or light meals set outdoors in a beautiful garden. Extremely popular place. Cakes are very good especially with whipped cream! You get a large mug of coffee called in German a “pot.” The parking lot gets very crowded. You sit at any table you can find, indoors or outside. It is however awful that people are always hovering around like vultures waiting for someone to leave their table. They seem not to have enough servers and the service can be very slow. If they were better organized it would be a five...

Ich kann nur die Espresso Selbstbedienungsbar bewerten und die ist toll. Der Kuchen und der Cappuccino mit wahlweise Oatly Hafermilch waren super! Ebenso der Garten zum verweilen

Besides being a popular restaurant with great outdoor terrace and Kaffee & Kuchen since 1950, this place has ancient history and excellent views when you walk down towards the "WATT" across the Osterheide. You walk among huge homes of wealthy German post WW II families. I have posted three black & white photos from the family album. You see how the heather, area and view looked in 1935. Nothing but open heather and the three ancient grave tombs visible in back behind the original house. The Kupferkanne and homes were built only after 1946 to change the area 4ever!
