Bäumsche am Bahnhof — Restaurant in Langen

One of the restaurants and local hangouts in Langen (Germany). The restaurant was pretty busy around 7:30 PM. I sat in the bar area, luckily the staff spoke English. The place definitely has some character. Right by the entrance there was a table with some of the regulars (retirees that seem to come there nightly for food or drinks.)

I got an order of Frankfurter Schnitzel. The green sauce (grüne soße) went perfectly with the tender Schnitzels. I finished my plate of food and I wanted to try another dish or appetizer, but their portions were more than my stomach could handle after the schnitzels. I asked for the check, but the lady that was helping me told me to sit and wait. The kitchen made me a small plate of Sauerbraten with gravy and side of potatoes and cucumbers to try because it was Bavarian week. The meat was tender and I loved the potatoes and cucumbers. Unfriendly Waitress, Unwelcoming Attitude, Not-Foreigner-Friendly We went to this Biergarten yesterday in the afternoon and ordered some coffee. We had the unfriendliest waitress ever to serve us, and the coffee she brought was cold. Although the restaurant was entirely empty, she "did not ask us politely" but "commanded" us to change to a smaller table. My friend and I couldn't make sense of her attitude. Maybe it was because we are foreigners and speak German with an accent. The whole time that waitress and her male colleague threw us strange looks, which really bothered us. Thank God, we didn't stay there too long. Long story short, I'll never go to this Biergarten again and don't recommend...

Beautiful restaurant with very kind and attentive staff. Building is warm and cozy in a communal vibe. The food is filling but also in a way that makes you feel like you have a +1 to strength
