Kolonial-Stübchen — Restaurant in Mönchgut-Granitz

Wonderful place to take a step back and have some time for yourself. The service is great, I wanted to sit outside and was welcome to do so, was served outside and he kept checking on me even when it started to rain heavily for a minute. I am excited that I could finally drink a proper hot chocolate like we have in Spain. On top of that the almond cake was delicious! Lets say I was a little greedy with my choice and both were to much for me but I was able to take the cake home. I ate the last bit yesterday and WOW still so delicious like a few days ago!!! This place seems to be a go to place for breakfast, I was recommended to either reserve or come around 1pm so I am sure the have space :)

We had a wonderful brunch there, a truly royal experience. The food, the tea and the coffee were fresh and delicious, the portions generous but not boring, with a large variety of tasty morsels. The service was somewhat slow but friendly and professional. There was only one person serving the whole caffee on the day that we visited, and he gave us an honest warning that it might take a while, so we went with our eyes open. Kleines, nettes Stübchen. Es gibt 3 verschiedene Frühstücksplatten zur Auswahl mit jeweils 2 Brötchen und internationalem Käse, Wurst, Ei und leckerem Obst. Die Preise variieren zwischen 16.90 Euro und 18.90 pro Frühstücksplatte. Möchte man sich diese teilen, fallen noch einmal 5.50 Euro für ein sogenanntes Zusatzgedeck an. Für dieses Zusatzgedeck gibt es lediglich einen Teller extra, der Rest bleibt gleich. Möchte man noch etwas extra bestellen wie z.B. ein Brötchen oder ein Ei, kommen noch einmal 1.20 Euro dazu. Ein Heißgetränk wie z.B. eine heiße Schokolade kostet 5.50 Euro.

Allen in allem ist es für Feinschmecker ein besonderes Erlebnis. Für Menschen wie mich, die keinen Käse essen und etwas mäcklig sind, war es bei einer geteilten Platte ein ganz schön teures Brötchen mit leckerem Obst.
