Overall: Mother India, an Indian restaurant in Markt Schwabing, provided a disappointing experience due to the owner's rude behavior, which overshadowed the good food that the restaurant has offered in the past. "Indian have a mentality to come always late", these were the statement of the owner.

Aesthetic: It is ok.

Service: The owner's attitude and behavior marred the entire dining experience at Mother India. Despite making a reservation for 19:15, arriving at 19:35 prompted an unfriendly remark from the owner about a perceived cultural stereotype, despite the restaurant being empty. Confronting this, the owner's rude and dismissive attitude escalated the situation, leading to a regrettable encounter. It's deeply disheartening to be met with such behavior from the person responsible for the restaurant's success.

Food: In previous visits, the food at Mother India was really good, a factor that prompted a 45-minute drive to dine there. However, the otherwise appealing food quality was overshadowed by the owner's behavior on this particular visit.

Parking: Limited parking availability near the restaurant contributed to the lateness, which then led to the unfortunate confrontation with the owner. This inconvenience further dampened the overall experience.

Customer Interaction: The situation escalated to the point where another individual, possibly a staff member, intervened to inform us that the owner's behavior was because he was drunk. This only worsened the situation, providing further evidence of the restaurant's poor customer service on this particular day.

In conclusion, while Mother India has previously offered good food, the recent visit was marred by the owner's rude and disrespectful behavior. The encounter, which included derogatory comments and unwarranted rudeness, was not only offensive but also reflective of a poor attitude towards customer service. While the intention to dine out extends beyond just food and encompasses the overall experience, the unfortunate incident leaves a negative impression. As a result, returning to Mother India is unlikely, and recommending it to others, particularly fellow Indians, is out of...

What a culinary adventure it was! I am delighted with this place and eating there. Let's start from the food that no other Indian restaurant can beat. Tam Tam Shorbha is a soup that tastes even better with each subsequent sip, its spiciness and spices are so tasty that it can be enjoyed every day. The Chicken Madras was extra, melting in spices intended for consumption, as was the case with the Lamm Palak and Grillplatte. It was like a flavor bomb, we enjoyed every piece of this meals. My favourite one was Veg Korma... that sweetness of coconut completes the taste of vegetables... I was in heaven.. Gulab jamun are delicious sweet balls with honey, which were the perfect ending to our culinary cuisine. The mango liqueur was refreshing, pleasantly sweet and there was a lot of love put into preparing it. Service... first class! They talk woth customers with love, talked about the dishes with passion, treated everyone like a friend. This place is perfect for people who can be familiar with Indian cuisine, for people who have bad memories of other restaurants that do not cloud their expectations. Big applause to the owner for matching the dishes and choosing the service people. The best restaurant and service people I ever met. I hope to...

🇮🇳🍛 Unforgettable Indian Feast in Munich! 🌟🍴

After our 4-day Munich trip, our craving for authentic Indian food led us to this gem we found on Google! 🍽️ It lived up to its reputation with top-quality service and a friendly atmosphere. 🌟🤝

We kicked off our meal with flavorful samosas as starters, and for the main course, mutton tikka and kadhai paneer hit the spot! 😋🍲 Each dish was bursting with authentic flavors and sheer deliciousness. 🌶️👌

To our delight, the restaurant's owner added a heartwarming touch, offering us traditional kahwa as a complimentary drink. ☕🌹 Truly a memorable experience!

If you're craving yummy Indian food in Munich, this place is a...
