Solid choice for food and service. Very busy, so call ahead and reserve. Only minor complaints, the Käsespätzle (cheese noodles like Mac & Cheese) didn't use the strongest tasting cheese. Probably wouldn't order it again there. Obazda wasn't spiced that strongly, had better in the past. German food is a cuisine of subtle salty flavors and it's quite typical to be served like that because the locals prefer mild flavors. Great beers, served ice cold. All at competitive prices for the region. The Service was very friendly and prompt, which in itself is a reason to visit this restaurant. Charging for a takeaway box promotes unhealthy overeating, but I also understand because they probably have to do it since cheap single use plastic and styrofoam is banned now. I'd definitely come back, the inside looks amazingly old...

Was on Saturday for dinner here. Food was very good as usual... however we were given our bill without asking for it at 10pm and we quickly ordered our last drinks at this time while she had to confirm with her boss if we could place this last drinks order. Very nice that we could but we couldn't help but feel unwelcome as they switched off the lights at the front on the restaurant upstairs at about 10:15pm while we were still sitting there. Moreover we had checked beforehand online that Bräustüble closes at 11pm on Saturdays. We quickly finished our drinks and left exactly at 10:30pm. In addition the waitress (with big glasses on) at our table was quite irritated that we paid for our food with 'Gutschein ' because it seemed that she was also in a hurry...

I am very partial to any restaurants that their menu is based on seasonal produce and local specialities. They serve sensational Franconian dishes. The chefs are flexing serious culinary talent here, my crispy yet tender shrimp appetiser to the silence-inducing main dish-grilled fish were delicious.
