Had a wonderful experience here, even if we were a bit on the clock. They do have an English menu for you and they are incredibly warm and welcoming. Boy oh boy is the food tasty. I've probably had one of the best pork fillets in the world here, but the Weiner snitzels and the turkey steak were fantastic as well. Everything down to the salad even were fabulous and perfectly cooked, yet tender and juicy. And I'd say the prices were more than great for the quality of the food and the atmosphere. Absolutely loved this place

Ein sehr schönes kleines Restaurant mit einem hübschen kleinen Biergarten. Sollte ich jemals wieder ins Saarland fahren komme ich bestimmt erneut hier vorbei. Wir wurden bei unserem Besuch überaus freundlich begrüßt und direkt zu unseren plätzen geführt. Das Restaurant mag zwar im Vergleich zu anderen nicht sehr groß sein, aber es ist schön verschachtelt und gemütlich eingerichtet, sodass man überall in Ruhe essen kann. Besonders toll fanden wir den Schwenker in der Mitte des Raums. Sowohl die Getränke als auch das Essen wurden schnell gebracht. Der Vorspeisesalat war sehr bunt und sah richtig lecker aus. Das Rumpsteak und die Ofenkartoffel, die ich hatte waren sehr gut. Perfekt auf den Punkt medium gegrillt. Mein Kumpel hatte das Cordon bleu. Ich glaube ich werde mir die Art der Zubereitung aneignen 😃 Zwei panierte Schnitzel übereinander mit Schinken und Käse dazwischen sind schon richtig klasse. Alles in allem können wir das Restaurant nur vollkommen weiterempfehlen. Das Essen war super und im Biergarten sitzt man richtig gemütlich in dichtem grün.

Kurz darauf hat man uns angeboten, einen frei gewordenen Tisch außen zu nutzen, was wir dankend angenommen haben. Die Platte (siehe Bild) war wirklich sehr ansehnlich und nach einer Kostprobe alle Fleischsorten auch äußerst lecker. Das Steak hatte den perfekten Garpunkt und die beiden anderen Sorten waren nicht trocken und butterzart. Obwohl wir vorher nichts gegessen haben, um uns auf einen Restaurantbesuch vorzubereiten, haben wir beide es nicht geschafft, die Platte abzuräumen. Die übriggeblieben Speisen wurden eingepackt und konnten mitgenommen werden. Die Bedienungen waren sehr freundlich, zuvorkommend und auskunftsfreudig, über die Speisen und Getränke. Wir kommen wieder, jederzeit. Sofern wir Plätze bekommen, denn hier ist immer etwas los.

Our Airbnb host recommended this beautiful place as a restaurant nearby to eat at. I can honestly say this is one of the best recommendations we have received! The restaurant owners are very welcoming and lovely! The food is absolutely to die for. Gorgeous smoked meat cooked over a spinning circular grill. I have never seen anything like it. The flavour really came out too! The menu is clever as you pick your meat of choice and then whatever accompaniments you want. From 5 different types of potato to salad, ratatouille grilled and sautéed vegatables. Price is also great and very reasonable, considering the amount you get. Go in hungry! There is nothing I can fault. Thank you for such a wonderful meal...

After a short looking on the net for a "different" restaurant in our area to celebrate our 22 anniversary, I found the Kaminklause, and directly I said this the one! With my wife and our daughter we got the feeling that we're in a family visit . A place where you can find smiles, delicious food and drinks, warm atmosphere, and a parking place for your car ... so honestly what we want more? Certainly we'll return back more and more. We recommend this...
