Every few months I choose this place for lunch because I like Dean & David in general. This place has problems since years and it’s not becoming better. This restaurant is between many company buildings so there a lot of hungry customers and it is not unusual to stay in a long queue. Nevertheless it was not the first time that only two people were working behind the desk. One for cash, sandwiches and one guy for food only. As a consequence I finished my meal when my colleague’s were still waiting for there food. My stripes of pumpkin were almost raw and the rice was without any taste. My visit last time was quite disappointing and shocking even. The staff were arguing and fighting with each other and venting their anger towards their work, for example, they smashed things on the counter and everything was chaotic. There were people waiting forever for their food, and one of people in our group ordered something and only told 15 mins later that we he ordered was not available and he had to order something else. I think that was one of the most unprofessional service I have seen, it is not possible to really enjoy the food if the employees in the restaurant are working...

Cheap attempt at am upsell. I used to like this place and was a regular. But today, when I wanted to pay for Eur 7.55 by card (which has never been a problem before) I was suddenly told that there is a minimum value of 8 Eur for a card transaction. Poor and obvious attempt to get me to choose a more expensive option. I thought we were finally did of this ridiculous customer unfriendly policy in Germany. It seems D&D is no longer interested in my custom because of 45 cents . That's ok, there are plenty of other places...
