Piacere Nuovo — Restaurant in Munich

This place is a little tucked away but reasonably handy for Donnersbergerbrücke and it's worth the little extra effort. Although it's nothing special to look at and you could walk past it without noticing (indeed, I did, and I was looking for it), the service is welcoming and efficient, the prices very reasonable, and the pizza... well, the pizza. I don't know what they do to it but the pizza is... it's hard to explain... kind of gooey (NOT soggy, gooey) and unctuous, but in an entirely positive way. Piping hot, the crust is just right and the toppings perfectly balanced. PERFECT. I went down the road to Mille Miglia last night for comparison purposes and they're not even close to being as good as Piacere Nuovo. I like the pizza Michele, with spicy salami and gorgonzola. Es tut mir in der Seele weh, aber ich muss von anfänglichen 5 Sternen auf drei heruntergehen.

Ich liebte diesen Laden, die Atmosphäre, den italienischen Radiosender, der einem das Gefühl gab, jenseits vom Brenner zu sein.

Das Essen (beurteilen kann ich: Pizza, Pasta, diverse Vorspeisen) war tendenziell schon immer „durchschnittlich“. In Ordnung, ok, aber nichts, was man bei den vielen, vielen anderen Italienern in München nicht deutlich besser bekäme.

Der Service lässt inzwischen auch zu Wünschen übrig. Es wird gescherzt mit Bekannnten, „unbekannte“ Tische werden auch mal gern fix abgefrühstückt. Da hilft auch kein „Gut geschmeckt, Bellissime?“, wenn ich als Gast das Gefühl bekomme, die Antwort interessiere ohnehin nicht.

Für einen Sekt oder Sprizz am Nachmittag oder ein Gläschen Wein zum Feierabend in Ordnung; das Essen und die Gesamt-Erfahrung kann ich leider nicht mehr uneingeschränkt empfehlen.

Ein wirklich netter Laden, authentisch geführt. Speisen (abgesehen vom göttlichen Tiramisu) leider durchschnittlich. Aber das Ambiente... Hier stimmt alles! Im Hintergrund läuft italienische Musik, es wird Italienisch gesprochen. Das Piacere Nuovo könnte auch in Rom oder Mailand zu finden sein. Die Mitarbeiter sind allesamt sehr freundlich. I had the best pasta of my life in this restaurant! It's serves truly authentic Italian fare and you'll find yourself wanting to keep going back to this place!
