So this is a long review. I come here almost every week with my family because the ice cream is very good. BUT... this was the last time. We went there and order like always, and when we asked to pay by card, the lady (already with a bad face and attitude) told us to use a machine outside the store, which processes the order and has a payment with card. We go to the machine, which shows the possibility to access in different languages. We try many times and it doesn't get through, so we call the lady asking her how does this work... And she comes super annoyed, moving her head in discomfort like we are idiots, presses a button and says there you go, with such an attitude.... she observes how we are trying again to do everything, and she says OK you know what let me do it (again like we are idiots)... So the machine doesn't work.... and she says well you have to pay by cash now (ice cream mealting in the meantime). My husband says we don't have cash with us, she goes like we'll go to the bank then. So I take my baby and go to the bank, come back, in the meantime the lady is still trying to make the machine work... So I paid and asked her to have some patience and be friendly the next time, because it was not our problem that the machine was working. After this, my husband tells me that he had a discussion with her while waiting for me, because he told her in the meantime the ice cream has melted. Well if you don't like it you can throw it she said.... THROW IT??!! There are people who don't have to eat and she suggests us to throw food??? And why don't they put a sign indicating how to pay with card, how to use the machine? Or at least train the employees to help people pay with this machine or whatever????? Never again with this...

I recently went here with my partner. After we ordered, one of the men working behind the counter said âeight forty.â I put âŹ9 on the counter and we took our drinks outside. The man running the cafĂ© then came to where we were sitting in the outside seating area and quite loudly declared that we had skipped out on our bill. He handed us a bill that said ââŹ11.60â. I thought it was my German that was the issue and proffered a âŹ5 note to cover the remainder. The manager then insisted I hadnât paid anything (my partner had watched me place the âŹ9 on the counter). The manager went through the security tapes, but the place where I put the cash was a blind spot. I donât know who pocketed the money, itâs immaterial. All I know is that after I paid a second time (the âŹ11.60 bill), the manager was still incredibly ungracious. I understand that he, of course, shouldnât eat the cost, but he carried on at quite a volume after I had settled the bill as though I still hadnât paid. I used to deduct a star for lack of accepting the internationally recognized cards like MC or V.
